Flowers brings extensive experience and educational credentials to the position. He earned a Master of Arts from the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, N.Y.), and a BA magna cum laude from Yale University. He completed additional studies at the Juilliard School (New York, NY) and Westminster Choir College (Princeton, NJ).
An accomplished conductor, musical director, and accompanist for a variety of theaters and choirs, Flowers is also a published composer and arranger. He is currently director of music for the Greater Philadelphia Center for Spiritual Living (Paoli, PA), as well as Owner and Founder of MINDFUL MUSIC, LLC, based in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Jonathan Flowers has been named artistic director of A Cappella Pops, the Philadelphia area’s premier show chorus. Flowers was selected after an exhaustive search throughout the Philadelphia tristate region, which also attracted candidates as far away as New York City and the Metro Washington D.C. area.
